Amanda's Story
I grew up playing sports. I was very active and loved working out at the gym. I decided I wanted to get more educated in health and fitness so I got my B.S in Health science, health promotion and fitness. I worked at my college gym facility. I graduated and became certified in fitness classes and personal training. I scored a great job at a corporate facility and have helped thousands of people of all ages reach their goals with wellness programs, classes, and 1-1 training.
Then I wanted to try to understand and relate to people more, so I became a wellness coach. That has helped me tremendously with connecting with my clients in a new light. I'm here to help create goals that are ACHIEVABLE, realistic and will help you achieve your best self.
I LIVE, LOVE and LAUGH fitness every day of my life, but I do believe in balance. I have struggled with weight my whole life. I’m short and I can gain weight and muscle very easily. By no means is it easy for me to look the way I want to look. I have always been active and into trying a new crazy race, marathon, or fitness fad! I wanted to push myself to a new level, so I decided to train for fitness competitions. It was such a great experience and I learned a lot about my body and just how important nutrition is. As much as I loved the challenge; fitness shows were taxing on my mind and created some negative eating behaviors. I have since learned the importance of BALANCE in your life, as well as loving your body in every stage its at. I would love to share my experience and knowledge with you!
